On March 19, 2010 at 2:14 am, officers responded to the 400 block of E. Healey on a report of a home invasion.
At approximately 2:10 a.m., a 21 year-old female was entering her apartment when an unknown suspect followed her into the apartment and attacked her by striking her. This unknown suspect was armed with a knife. A male witness came to the aid of the female and the unknown suspect fled. The female received non-life threatening injuries and was treated and released at a local hospital.
The unknown suspect is described as:
Black Male
Approximately 35 years old
5”10”; 170 lbs.
Short black hair
Scruffy facial hair with some gray in it
Wearing a dark shirt, dark blue jeans
Wearing a tan hat with an unknown logo which was adjustable with a gap in the back
