The City’s annual Spring Yard Waste Collection will begin on Monday, April 5, 2010. The Orange Zone collections will commence on Monday, April 5, with the Blue Zone following on Monday, April 12. Collections will continue to alternate on subsequent weeks through April 30, 2010.
All residential properties in the City can participate by placing bagged yard waste or bundled twigs at the curb on the collection day. Maps and program details are also available on the City’s website at www.ci.champaign.il.us. Residents are encouraged to sign up for an automatic e-mail notification of this and all future yard waste collections at the City’s web site.
