The latest episode of “Champaign Connection” is scheduled to play during the month of October.
- Deputy Chief Holly Nearing reviews the Police Complaint and Complement process. Viewers will learn the multiple ways to share opinions about their interactions with police, and more about how the investigative process works.
- Dena Schumacher (Fire Education Specialist) and Rene Dunn (Assistant to the Police Chief for Community Services) discuss this year’s Heroes and Helping Hands honorees. Learn how ordinary people stepped up to make a difference in a time of crisis in our community.
- Stacy Rachel (Administrative Services Supervisor) reviews the various parking options available for downtown visitors. Learn how the new Hill Street Parking Deck and downtown pay stations give motorists lots of easy ways to “get down and park it.”
Champaign Connection is an award-winning 30-minute news magazine which helps the City better communicate with our residents. The show airs on CGTV (Comcast channel 5 and U-verse channel 99) nightly at 6:30 PM. The show is also available on the City’s website at www.ci.champaign.il.us/cgtv. Champaign Connection is produced by the Information Technologies Department with input from the Communications Advisory Committee.
