South Fourth Street

Stark Excavating has been able to almost complete the earth work on Fourth St, Hazelwood and Gerty Drives. Stark is expected to begin construction on the storm sewer portion of the project within the next couple of weeks. The project is on schedule and on budget for a fall completion date in 2013.

Police Youth Academy

Sixteen area youth attended the Police Department Youth Police Academy during the week of June 25, 2012. The students engaged in obstacle courses, crime scene analysis and classroom instruction with School Resource Officers and volunteers. Graduates will receive certificates of completion and celebrate with a party on the last day of the academy.    …

Town Center Blvd

Cross Construction has completed the pavement improvements to Town Center Blvd. Work will continue on the sidewalk ramps at the Moreland Blvd intersection.
