On Saturday, June 9, 2012, Champaign Police Officers participated in the 16th Annual Playing It Safe Family Safety Fair at the Champaign County Fairgrounds. Carle and Safe Kids Champaign County sponsored the event which features more than 40 interactive learning stations focusing on safety awareness for the entire family. Officer Jonathan Westfield gave a bullying presentation and other officers displayed and demonstrated equipment from the SWAT Team and EOD Team.
