On July 16 and 17 the Forestry section partnered with the Champaign Park District to complete a stump grinding project at Heritage Park. Craig Kempher from the Park District borrowed the City’s stump grinder to remove stumps in Heritage Park for a prairie restoration project. Andrew Lamoreux was present to answer any questions about the operation of the stump grinder. The Forestry section has partnered with the Park District on other projects in the past.
