In order to complete a water service connection, Illinois American Water will close one northbound lane and one southbound lane of Mattis Avenue between Stonegate Drive and Sangamon Drive. The lane closures began on Wednesday, September 19, 2012, and will reopen by Thursday, September 20, 2012. Northbound and southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane in the area. All efforts will be made to reopen to traffic as soon as possible.
