Stark Excavating was able to pave the northbound lane on Fourth Street. While this paving operation may not have been the largest volume of concrete (2,300 cu. yds.), it is the longest single day of paving – 4100 LF. Paving started at 6 a.m. and the last concrete truck left at 6:30 p.m. It was an ideal day for paving – sunshine, little to no wind, and mild temperatures. Currently we are scheduled to pave the southbound lane of Fourth Street on Friday of this week, but the weather may be conspiring against us. Rain is in the forecast and may delay paving until next week. The project is on schedule and on budget for a fall completion date in 2013.
