This project was awarded at the September 18 City Council meeting. It includes lining a total of approximately 12,800 lineal feet of sanitary sanitary sewer and 900 lineal feet of storm sewer. SAK Construction, from O’Fallon, MO, is the contractor for the project at a total a cost of $583,349. A preconstruction conference was held on October16, 2012. SAK indicated that work on pre-cleaning the sewers could begin as early as the week of October 29, 2012. Completion of the project is expected by the end of March 2013.
