The Champaign Police Department and retired Police Officer Zane Ziegler hosted a ‘coffee’ for approximately 20 retired Champaign Police Officers on Sunday evening, October 28. Several of the retirees are currently filming short interview videos reminiscing about their time on the police department to be posted on the department’s Facebook page. The retirees have also formed a committee to gather historical police department artifacts and photos to display in the department.
