The Human Resources Department has launched its annual Open Enrollment period for dental and vision insurance beginning November 1 through November 30, 2012. Changes to employee and dependent elections for dental and vision insurance coverage are made during this time period. Participation in dental/vision insurance is voluntary, with employees paying 100% of the premium cost.
The City converted to Delta Dental in 2011 and has received positive employee feedback compared to prior dental programs. The City is renewing a two-year contract with Delta Dental with a modest 1.8% premium increase and enhanced benefit features.
The City continues in the second year of a two year agreement for vision insurance; therefore no premium/benefit changes will occur.
