The Public Works Building and portions of the City Manager’s Office have recently undergone renovations, leaving behind items which will no longer be utilized. These items are currently stored in the former Meadow Gold Building at the northwest corner of the Public Works site. Staff mailed a letter to 41 not-for-profit agencies inviting them to attend a surplus property giveaway at this location. The giveaway will occur on Thursday, December 20, 2012, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. Items will be given away on a first come, first-served basis. Property to be donated includes file cabinets, waiting area chairs, desks, tables, office partitions, and bookcases. Agencies are responsible for transporting any items they wish to take.
