Champaign Fire Department and Building Safety are pleased to announce a new service for 1 & 2 family residential permit customers. e-Permits provided an option for customers to submit their permit application and plans to Building Safety via e-mail. Once the permit application and plans are reviewed and approved, the Building Safety office will call the applicant, take a credit card number for payment, and then e-mail the permit to the applicant. A customer can easily obtain their permit from their home or office. The permit applications found on the webpage below are fillable PDF files that can be saved.
