Champaign Firefighters responded to an apartment fire early yesterday morning at 1503 Kiler Dr. ( Bay Harbor Apartments).
No injuries occurred, but substantial damage occurred on the third floor of the apartment complex.
The fire began in apartment 307.
Firefighters estimate the damage at $60.000.
Investigators report the cause of the fire to be food on the stove.
