In order to perform an emergency repair on a water main valve, Illinois American Water has closed one southbound lane of Neil Street at Eureka Street. The lane closure began on Thursday, February 21, 2013, and will reopen by Friday, March 1, 2013. Southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane in the area. All efforts will be made to reopen to traffic as soon as possible.
