Congratulations to Champaign Police Intelligence Analyst, Renae Yandell for being selected Champaign Police “Employee of the Year.” Renae was selected by a committee of her peers for exemplifying the values of Service with Pride.
Renae has served in many capacities during her tenure at the department. Her current position as the Intelligence Analyst has been the real proving ground for her talents. She has had to learn and adhere to new policies, including Federal guidelines that pertain specifically to intelligence gathering, dissemination and retention.
She has worked in law enforcement for 20 years and realizes the value of the team approach. Rene has developed relationships with law enforcement personnel not only in Champaign-Urbana but statewide and beyond. One of Renae’s key strengths is her willingness to listen and learn from others. She does not hesitate to seek the advice of others.
Renae is an extremely valuable member of our department and is very deserving of the honor of being named “Employee of the Year.”
