Officer Ward was selected by a committee of his peers for exemplifying the police department’s value statement of “Service with Pride.”
Officer Ward’s duty performance, initiative, consistency, demeanor, commitment toward civic and community service and performance evaluations support this recognition and favorably reflect the values of the Champaign Police Department. Officer Ward is assigned to the department’s Patrol Division and received his commission and appointment in 2004.
