As part of an ongoing effort to improve public access to City information over the internet, the City’s Webmaster has updated the City’s homepage to greatly improve the look and usability of the website on tablets and other mobile devices.
Mobile users have been an increasingly important audience. Visits from mobile devices to the City website have doubled from April 2012 to April 2013 and now make up 20.6% of all visits to the website. We expect this percentage to continue to grow as tablets and mobile devices become more sophisticated.
