The Champaign Police Department is inviting the public to its 2nd Annual Open House event, on Saturday, May 18, 2013. The Open House will be held during National Police Week (May 12-18, 2013), an event recognizing the service and sacrifice of U.S. Law Enforcement.

The event is a great opportunity to meet your local police officers and staff and learn more about the Champaign Police Department. There will be tours, historical displays, and demonstrations from the K-9 Unit, SWAT team, Hostage Negotiations team, Crime Scene Technicians, and the Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit. Come out and enjoy fun-filled activities for the entire family!
