In order to perform an emergency water main repair, Illinois American Water has closed Green Street between First Street and Second Street. The road closure began this morning, Friday, July 19, 2013.
Broeren Russo, the City of Champaign, and Illinois American Water are working together to reconfigure traffic control in the area and to reopen to traffic by the end of today, Friday, July 19, 2013. By the end of the working day, one eastbound and one westbound lane of traffic will be reopened.
