Neighborhood Coordinator John Ruffin assisted Town Center residents to organize and establish a registered neighborhood group addressing ongoing neighborhood health and wellness issues. The group identified the following concerns as key issues they would like to address in order to improve neighborhood livability within the apartment complex: public safety, after school enrichment programs for youth, and improved tenant landlord relations. The group held a well attended kickoff meeting, which was followed the next week with a general community meeting to introduce newly appointed onsite property management, and to provide a status report of the activities of the newly formed group.
