Beniach Construction will be replacing failed pavement the full width of White Street just east and west of Sixth Street. As a result, Beniach Construction will be closing White Street between Fifth Street and Wright Street to through traffic from Monday, July 29, 2013, until 3 p.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2013. Local access to driveways will be maintained.
The asphalt over brick pavement along White Street has continued to deteriorate, resulting in the need for some emergency street repairs. This repair, along with the recent repairs along White Street between Third and Fourth Streets, are being performed as additional work under the Annual Infrastructure Maintenance Contract.
