In order to install a new sanitary sewer connection at 112 East Green Street, Broeren Russo and Mayfield Construction will be closing all lanes of Green Street between First Street and Second Street from Monday, August 12, 2013, to Thursday, August 15, 2013. This repair requires an excavation into the middle of the street in order to gain access to the City of Champaign sewer main.
The location of the work will not allow vehicular traffic to pass through the repair area. Traffic will be detoured north to Springfield Avenue. Local traffic will be allowed and access to properties will be maintained.
