UPDATE 1508 Devonshire – CFD Fire Information Report

Updated Fire Cause

Narrative: Champaign Fire Department responded to a passer-by report of a house living room on fire. Fire units arrived to find the southwest corner living room on fire. Crews quickly forced entry through the front door and extinguished the fire with a hose line. No one was home at the time of the fire. There were no civilian injuries; one firefighter was treated and released from the hospital for a minor injury. One pet in the home survived the fire. Fire investigators are still on the scene investigating the cause.
