G.M. Sipes, the City’s contractor for the 2014 Concrete Street Maintenance Project, has been performing street repairs and sidewalk ramp updates along North Fourth Street, between University Avenue and Columbia Avenue this fall. The work is nearing completion. Remaining work includes finishing up concrete patching for the southbound half of the street, updating sidewalk ramps to current ADA standards along the west side of the street, and parkway restoration. Weather permitting, concrete work for both the street repairs and sidewalk ramps is anticipated to be completed by Wednesday, November 27, 2013 with parkway restoration and cleanup continuing into the first week of December.
