News Release: Snow Routes Are Deactivated 12.15.13

SNOW ROUTES ARE DE-ACTIVATED

Champaign – The City of Champaign announces that effective December 15, 2013 at 7:00 p.m., the prohibited parking ban on City Snow Routes will be lifted and reinstatement of normal parking regulations will be in effect.

All residents should be advised that any snow of an additional two inches or more will cause the parking ban to be reinstated.

Snow Routes include:

 UNIVERSITY AVENUE from State St. to Mattis Ave.
 CHURCH STREET from State St. to Mattis Ave.
 STATE STREET from Bradley Ave. to Kirby Ave.
 RANDOLPH STREET from Bradley Ave. to Hessel Blvd.

If you believe your vehicle was towed from one of these locations, please check with the Public Works Department or the Champaign Police Department (217.351.4545). Vehicles relocated from this area have been relocated to the north side of the Champaign Police Department (82 E. University Ave). You must check in with the Champaign Police Department Front Desk before removing your vehicle.
