The Champaign Public Library is offering cardholders more eBooks with the new 3M Cloud Library. For the first time, eBooks can be found by searching the library’s catalog.
To read them, users need to first download the free 3M Cloud Library app that is compatible with most mobile devices and computers. The app is also an easy way to browse, check out, and make requests.
Most of the new eBooks are popular fiction. A broad range of fiction and nonfiction can also be found in the library’s My Media Mall.
This new offering of eBooks builds on the library’s collection of downloadable and streaming media that includes digital magazines through Zinio and streaming music, movies and audio books through Hoopla.
Library cardholders who would like individual instruction in using downloadable and streaming media on their mobile device, can call 403-2070 to schedule an appointment.
