UPCOMING LANE CLOSURES ON SPRINGFIELD AVENUE
Champaign – In order to complete routine storm sewer maintenance, National Power Rodding Corp. will be will require lane closures on Springfield Avenue (between Mattis Avenue and Fair Street). Operations will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, February 17 and are planned for completion by 4:00 p.m. Monday, February 17, weather permitting. Operations are daytime only and will not impact evening travel occurring after 4:00 p.m.
In order to complete this work, eastbound traffic on Springfield Avenue will be reduced to one lane through the work zone. There will be no lane closures on westbound Springfield Avenue, as part of this work.
The public is encouraged to obey all construction signs or plan alternative routes to avoid this work.
