CITY REQUESTS DRIVER CAUTION FOR POTHOLE REPAIR CREWS
Champaign – Effective Friday 2/21/14, Public Works will deploy additional personnel and equipment to continue addressing and repairing potholes on the City’s streets. If weather conditions are appropriate, these crews will also be present on weekends, early mornings and evenings. The City requests drivers use caution when travelling near these crews. Multiple staff will be on the street filling potholes outside of their trucks. Drivers are encouraged to slow down in these areas and go around the crews. Drivers should obey any sign, barricade, truck or other traffic control device that will be used to redirect them around the work area. The City appreciates the patience and cooperation of residents and visitors during this time.
