What: Gas Leak at First Street and Gerty Drive
Date: March 17, 2014
Other Information: A gas main was struck in the area. Champaign Fire Department personnel are on the scene. Ameren is on the scene working to control the leak. Fire Department personnel went to surrounding buildings in the immediate area with detection equipment and detected no readings – there is no danger to the buildings and occupants are safe.
