CFD Fire Information Report
Narrative: Champaign Fire Department responded to a report of a working at 410 E. Green St / Empire Restaurant. Upon arrival fire department crews found smoke emitting from the front of the property. Fire crews entered the property and found a cooking fire that had been controlled by the suppression system with residual fire in the duct system. A hose line was deployed to quickly extinguish the fire. Fire crews evacuated residents in the apartment areas of the structure. There were no civilian or fire personnel injuries reported.
