The Public Works Department saw a 256 (38%) decrease in service requests during the month of March compared to February. Citizens and City staff submitted 313 total requests during March 2014. The chart below tracks the number of requests recorded each day by staff.
Citizens using the mobile phone application, SeeClickFix, reported 34 (10.8%) of the service issues. Over half (21) of the SeeClickFix requests were requests for pothole repair.
The Asphalt Section received 81 (26%) of the service requests. The Sewer Section took second and third place for number of calls for 50 (16%) sewer calls and 45 (14%) miscellaneous requests for a total of 95 calls.
The most requested service was still for pothole repair with a total of 66 (21%) requests. The second most frequent call was requesting assistance with 35 (11%) sewer backups. In third place was the request for 16 (5%) pickup of miscellaneous debris.
