Duce Construction will be constructing a new storm sewer manhole on the northernmost lane of Springfield Avenue between Prairie Street and State Street. In order to complete this work, westbound traffic on Springfield Avenue will be shifted through the work zone. A lane of eastbound and westbound traffic will be maintained at all times.
Operations will begin at 7 a.m. on Monday, July 21 and are planned for completion and reopening by 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, weather permitting.
The public is encouraged to obey all construction signs or plan alternative routes to avoid this work.
