The Champaign Police Department is investigating a suspicious death of a 27 year-old male.
On November 18, 2014 at 8:17 a.m. police were called to the intersection of Redbud and Forsythia Drives to check on the welfare of an injured man who was found in a car. Upon arrival, officers found a deceased man in a car with an obvious injury.
The circumstances surrounding his death are suspicious and police are investigating this case as a homicide.
An autopsy is being conducted at this time and police hope to have more information about the investigation later this afternoon.
