Neighborhood Services Department Staff organized a follow-up retreat for the United Garden Hills Neighborhood Association. The meeting was attended by invited guests from different demographic groups within the neighborhood and staff representatives from Neighborhood Services, Public Works, and Champaign Police Departments. Police and Public Works provided an update on key initiatives being implemented in the Garden Hills Neighborhood and Neighborhood Services Staff presented civic engagement recommendations based on feedback generated at the initial retreat and an analysis of the current engagement and participation of residents in the neighborhood improvement process.
