To allow for the connection of Olympian Drive to Duncan Road, the City of Champaign will be closing Duncan Road between Meridian Drive and the I-74 overpass. The road closure will begin on Monday, August 3 and will reopen no later than October 2. A detour route has been assigned around the construction zone.
The proposed improvements will include a new intersection and turn lanes on both Duncan Road and Olympian Drive. The City would like to thank the residents of both Champaign and Champaign County for their understanding, patience, and cooperation during this project.
