On January 14, 2016, more than 100 people filled Council Chambers to hear the four Library Director finalists answer questions and explain why they are best suited for the job. The finalists are: Linda Lyshol, Rick Meyer, Elaina Norlin, and Denise Raleigh. The event was televised live on CGTV and live streamed on CGTV Online. Library staff also live tweeted the event with the hashtag #YourNextLibraryDirector. Audience members in Council Chambers and at home submitted dozens of questions for the finalists during the 98-minute event. The four finalists were in town for a number of meetings and interviews with various stakeholders. The Library Board of Trustees hopes to make a final selection before the end of the month.
