Three abandoned properties in Garden Hills have been demolished under contract by Owens Trucking and Excavating. Work began March 21 with the demolition of 1319 Hedge Road. 1432 Holly Hill, which had been vacant for over 18 years, was demolished March 22. 1515 Holly Hill was demolished March 23. Trees that are in poor condition will be removed from 1319 Hedge Road and 1515 Holly Hill. 1319 Hedge Road and 1515 Holly Hill currently belong to the City, and 1432 Holly Hill will be acquired by foreclosure as soon as possible.
