While conducting systematic inspections, Property Maintenance Inspector Cliff Peete observed a property with numerous code deficiencies, including unlicensed, inoperable vehicles and an excessive amount of trash and debris. Peete issued a 10-day Notice to Abate with a reinspection date scheduled for March 28. Peete reinspected the property and found that the violations were still pending and contacted the property owner to inform him that bids would be sought to clean up the property. The property owner informed Peete that a towing company had been contacted to tow the vehicles and a contractor was hired to remove the trash and debris the following day. The property was reinspected on March 31 and all violations had been abated.
