United Garden Hills Neighborhood Association
Neighborhood Services Department (NSD) staff attended the monthly general membership meeting of the United Garden Hills Neighborhood Association (UGHNA) held on April 18. UGHNA held its annual officer elections, with the following individuals being elected to serve in leadership positions until the next elections: Amy Revilla (President), Phil McGarvey (Vice President), Becky Restad (Secretary), and Staci Brittain (Treasurer).
Officers from the Champaign Police Department presented an update related to policing strategies to address community concerns regarding public safety. NSD staff provided an update related to Garden Hills Action Plan implementation efforts. Additionally, Council member Paul Faraci in his role as Policy Advisor for the State of Illinois, attended the meeting to present information on programs and services offered by the State of Illinois Treasurer’s Office.
