In order to install a sanitary main and pump station for the Urbana & Champaign Sanitary District, Stark Excavating will be closing Second Street between Healey Street and Springfield Avenue. The lane closure will begin on Monday, May 16, 2016, and will reopen by Friday, September 16, 2016. No traffic will be allowed on Second Street during this closure. The contractor has and will continue to coordinate with local properties to maintain access during the project.
