On July 5, 2016, the City Council appointed Angie Brix to fill the District 3 vacancy. Councilmember Brix was one of seven who applied for the Council seat previously held by Vic McIntosh. She was immediately sworn in by Mayor Feinen, assumed her seat at the Council Dias, and voted on the remaining items on the Council agenda.
