Starting Thursday, July 21, 2016, Open Road Paving Company will begin milling and paving work on Bloomington Road from Prospect Avenue to Bradley Avenue. This work tends to be disruptive for vehicular travel through the project. Traffic is urged to avoid the work area and use alternate routes where possible. There will be intermittent lane closures throughout the construction period. Westbound Bloomington Road will be closed when work is being done at the east end of the project. Minor side streets will be closed to expedite the work effort. Access to driveways and businesses will be open at all times. Work is scheduled to be completed by August 15, 2016.
