In order to install gas service, Ameren Illinois and Shaw Brothers will be closing the eastbound lane of Washington Street between Walnut Street and Market Street. Eastbound and westbound traffic will shift around the work area. The work will begin on Monday, September 19 and will reopen on Friday, September 23, 2016. One lane of eastbound and one lane of westbound traffic will be maintained during the closure.
