Champaign boasts an extensive set of bike routes and bike trails to help cyclists get around town. The City maintains a number of bike routes both on City streets and separated from the roadway. Champaign’s bike routes tie into University of Illinois, Urbana, and Savoy bike routes, as well as Champaign Park District trails.

The Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District provides award-winning bus service throughout Champaign, the University of Illinois, and Urbana. The Illinois Terminal is the main bus terminal and is strategically located in downtown Champaign.
