Inoperative Motor Vehicle Removed

The Neighborhood Services Department received a complaint concerning this inoperative motor vehicle in August 2017. Property Maintenance Inspector Kim Burnett investigated and found the vehicle was unregistered and in violation of City Ordinance. Residents Reminded to Inspect Utility Service Connections for Potential Hazards

While completing a tenant inspection, Property Maintenance Inspector Cliff Peete observed a tree growing and applying pressure against the copper gas supply line leading into the residential structure. Peete immediately contacted Ameren Illinois and a technician arrived who cut and removed the tree. The technician also evaluated the meter, found a gas leak, and replaced the meter. […]
