New Fire Truck Arrival

The Champaign Fire Department received delivery of Ladder Truck 161 yesterday. Firefighters will receive training and prepare the vehicle to be in service later this month. First day of service will be September 24, 2010. Ladder 161 will be housed at Fire Headquarters, 307 S. Randolph St.

2010 Neighborhood Rehabilitation Project

Construction work in the Green Meadow neighborhood bounded by Mattis Avenue, Crescent Drive, Kirby Avenue, and Sangamon Drive will begin Thursday September 9, 2010.
