Bristol Place Update

Nine Bristol properties to be demolished were open for contractors to inspect on March 31, 2016.   Approved Bristol Demolition Contractors were invited to view the properties before demolition bids are due.  Five contractors inspected the nine properties.  Bids for the demolition of these nine properties are due on April 14, 2016.

Demolition of 505 West Bradley Avenue

Neighborhood Code Compliance is monitoring five properties that have been awarded a ‘Notice to Proceed’ for demolition activities. The City of Champaign has acquired 48 properties in Bristol Place. Housing Authority of Champaign County Board Meeting

During the February 25 regular board meeting, the Housing Authority of Champaign County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved extending the Bristol Place Phase I Intergovernmental Agreement.  This extension is for one year with the original terms of the agreement still in place.
