2010 Infrastructure Maintenance

Annual Alley Maintenance Feutz Contractors should complete paving of the alley bounded by Fifth Street, Sixth Street, Church Street, and Park Street this week. They began working on the alley bounded by Fourth Street, Fifth Street, Eureka Street, and Tremont Street this week and should complete the paving in three weeks.

New Fire Truck Arrival

The Champaign Fire Department received delivery of Ladder Truck 161 yesterday. Firefighters will receive training and prepare the vehicle to be in service later this month. First day of service will be September 24, 2010. Ladder 161 will be housed at Fire Headquarters, 307 S. Randolph St.
