In order to restore pavement from an emergency water main break, Illinois American Water closed a northbound lane of Fourth Street, just south of Green Street. The lane closure began on Wednesday, December 28, 2011, and reopened Tuesday, January 3, 2012. Northbound traffic was shifted to the center turn lane in the area.
